Controls how you create selection sets

WIndow Selection

Select objects enclosed by the selection box only

Pick a corner

Drag diagonally from left to right and pick second corner

Objects enclosed by the selection box are selected

Crossing Selection

Select objects enclosed and touching by the selection box

Pick a corner

Drag diagonally from right to left and pick second corner

Objects enclosed and touching by the selection box are selected

Window Polygon Selection

Select object enclosed by polygon 

Start any modify command

Enter WP after Select objects command prompt
Press [Enter]

Pick first polygon point

Pick multiple points to enclosed the objects
Press [Enter]

All objects enclosed are selected

Crossing Polygon Selection

Select objects enclosed and touching by polygon

Start any modify command

Enter CP after Select objects command prompt
Press [Enter]

Pick first polygon point

Pick multiple points
Press [Enter]

Objects enclosed and touching are selected

Fence Selection

Select objects touching by line

Start any modify command

Enter F after Select objects command prompt
Press [Enter]

Pick first fence point

Pick multiple points 
Press [Enter]

Objects touching by line are selected

Remove Selection

Remove object from the selection set

Shift + Select object in the selection set

Object remove from the selection set

Lasso Window Selection

Select objects enclosed by spline

Click + Drag from left to right

Objects enclosed by spline are selected

Lasso Crossing Selection

Select objects enclosed and touching by spline

Click + Drag from right to left

Objects enclosed and touching by spline are selected
